About Temasek Associate Programme (TAP)
TAP is a structured early career opportunity for high potential graduates eager to launch a buyside investment career. Designed for curious, driven self-starters, the programme builds strong investment fundamentals through hands-on exposure, rigorous critical analysis, and real decision making alongside experienced investment professionals. You will be expected to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled tools to enhance investment research, market intelligence, and due diligence — developing skills that are increasingly critical for investors today. High-performing Associates may be offered the opportunity to convert to a permanent role upon successful completion of the programme.
Programme duration: 3 August 2026 to 31 March 2028 (20 months)

Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and assessing investment opportunities in companies spanning several sub-sectors and across capital structures
- Drive investment views and inform decisions via deal evaluation, due diligence, industry/company analysis and financial modelling
- Own and run financial modelling workstreams, including operating model, returns and valuation analysis
- Monitoring market trends and closely tracking existing portfolio assets to support investment/divestment making decisions
- Constantly developing and renewing industry/sector knowledge as well as macro and regulatory changes
- Portfolio management including closely tracking performance, evaluating our stake, potentially working on value creation opportunities or deep dives on the company or broader industry
- Establishing and cultivating relationships with companies, corporate partners and other relevant institutions
- Proficiency in leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the investment research process and workflows
Who Should Apply
We welcome applications from fresh and recent graduates who are passionate about investing and purposeful impact, including those with internship / less than 1 year of full-time experience in Investment Banking, M&A Advisory, Private Equity, or Management Consulting.
