Introduction
Temasek’s Cybersecurity Department is seeking interns to join our Centre of Excellence (CCOE) team. This role offers hands-on experience in strategic planning, change management, programme management and governance, while providing students with a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment. Interns will have the opportunity to own and execute internal cyber engagement events and communications and help craft engaging training materials and programmes to drive awareness and adoption of cybersecurity practices across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- This role will support the Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CoE) function, driving programme governance, ensuring smooth execution of cross-functional initiatives, and assisting to support the management organizational change efforts to drive transformation.
- Support CoE pillar responsibilities across key areas: Strategic Planning, Change management, programme governance, management reporting
- Support Temasek Portfolio Company (TPC) engagements
- Own and execute internal firm cyber engagement events and communications
- Implement change management initiatives
- Front external communications with TPCs product vendors
- Assist in staffing the CISO for executive engagements
- Drive security awareness through innovative and engaging methods, creating a culture where cybersecurity becomes second nature
Requirements
- Able to commit full-time for a minimum of 20 weeks. Interns who are able to commit to a full-time (5 days/week) or a minimum of part-time (4 days/week) internship is strongly preferred.

- University undergraduates pursuing any of these majors/degrees: Marketing, Communications, Business
- We also welcome applicants from other disciplines with demonstrated interest in the cybersecurity field.
What we are looking for:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in marketing, communications and, or cybersecurity
- Prior internship experience in change management, programme governance, marketing and/or communications will be considered a strong plus
- Demonstrate critical thinking, curiosity, resourcefulness, and an eagerness to learn.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented with the ability to identify, manage, and resolve issues.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Possess integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive information.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
