Introduction

The increasing reliance of businesses on technology means that cybersecurity and technology risk management is a strategically important function within Temasek. The implementation of an effective and comprehensive cybersecurity defence plan and strategy will enable Temasek to be better prepared for these risks and evolving cybersecurity threats. The Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CoE) supports the Cybersecurity team with two areas of focus, programme governance, reporting & financials, outreach & change. 

Responsibilities

The role will be working in the Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CCoE) Department and report to the CCoE lead. The right individual has a strong record of delivering results through outstanding performance, effective communication skills. They will have experience with enterprise risk management processes and being a part of complex programmes in large enterprises, preferably with cybersecurity or technology organizations.

 

  • Take responsibility to oversee the execution of business projects, from requirement analysis and solution design to project implementation, ensuring timely delivery. 
  • Act as the project’s business owner, coordinating cross-departmental resources to ensure smooth inter-team collaboration and effective implementation.
  • Develop management reports to provide insights into programme performance and governance at a strategic level. 
  • Ensure programme governance, organize governance/risk meetings, documentations as well as escalating on risks. 
  • Organise and drive weekly and monthly forums and committee meetings to meet desired security outcomes of the enterprise.
  • Maintain and track security risk register, remediation plans, and risk acceptance.
  • Support the CISO office in performance and security risks metrics, monitoring and reporting (including third party risks) to senior management and board.
  • Administer and enable the conduct of internal and external audits including provision of required documents and artefacts and coordination of responses to auditors.
  • Work closely with the leadership and coordinate across the department to put together weekly and/or monthly cyber presentation materials, risk exceptions and related documents for timely dissemination to internal and external meeting participants.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, AI, Business or equivalent
  • 6+ years’ experience as a Business Manager/Analyst or Project Manager delivering IT initiatives preferably cybersecurity or enterprise risk initiatives
  • Experience working with broad groups of stakeholders including senior leadership
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress against goals to senior leadership
  • PMO related and Cyber / ICT related qualifications (eg. APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, PMP, ISC2 / ISACA cyber certificates) is an added advantage 
  • Effective problem-solving and mediation skills
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments
  • Excellent cross-group and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and advisory skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders
  • Result-oriented and assertive
