Introduction
About the Temasek Review
Temasek Review is our annual disclosure that provides a view of Temasek’s portfolio performance, investment focus, and purpose-driven approach, reflecting our commitment to building a resilient, forward-looking portfolio.
This internship offers practical experience in public affairs and communications through involvement in the Temasek Review, our annual disclosure.
Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to a multi-channel global campaign as part of this internship. Successful candidates will be assigned to specialised workstreams within Public Affairs to support activities on digital, print or media platforms.
Responsibilities
Candidates may indicate their team interest during the interview stage, but final allocation will be based on the individual’s skillsets and experiences, as well as specific project needs. These teams include:
English Content
Review, edit, and collate English-language content and narratives for the Temasek Review report.
Chinese Content
Creation of relevant Chinese-language content and assets, as well as translate all English-language Temasek Review assets to Chinese, such as the Temasek Review report, press release, presentation slides to media etc.
Design
Conceptualise, develop, and produce the overall campaign identity and other visuals that will be used across the Temasek Review integrated campaign.
Data Visualisation
Collate and visualise financial, ESG, and institutional data that will be used across various Temasek Review collaterals.
Book Production for English and Chinese publications
Produce the printed TR Highlights (English and Chinese) by working with publishing agencies for layout development, translation, layout, production, and printing.
Print Advertising
Design and execute a local print advertising campaign to amplify key messages from the Temasek Review campaign in an easy-to-read format.
Media Outreach
Develop and execute media outreach programmes to share Temasek Review key messages and institutional updates with media in Singapore and across key international markets.
Campaign Microsites and Corporate Website
Contribute to the ideation, creative development and user experience as well as manage the development of the English and Chinese Temasek Review microsites as well as corporate website, ensuring content and details are well executed in an accurate and timely manner.
Digital Content Development and Marketing
Ideate, develop, and amplify content conveying Temasek Review key messages through long-form and short-form content like articles, videos and graphics and effectively engage with Temasek’s audiences on various social and digital platforms.
Requirements
- Open to undergraduates in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
- Students from other disciplines with a strong interest in public affairs and communications are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in public relations, corporate communications, or marketing is a plus.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with photo/video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) is an advantage for digital content roles.
- Basic proficiency in using Generative AI and AI tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot and ChatGPT to drive productivity and process efficiency.
- Able to commit full-time for 10–12 weeks (end-April to early August 2026) while remaining enrolled in a recognised university.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- For Chinese Content roles: native or professional proficiency in Chinese.
- Adaptive in fast paced environment and able to multi-task and handle complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Actively listen to instructions and demonstrate an understanding of assignment expectations (deadlines and deliverables).
- Demonstrate critical thinking, curiosity, resourcefulness, and an eagerness to learn.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented with the ability to identify, manage, and resolve issues.
- Team player who is comfortable with ambiguity, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Ability to work long hours (including overtime), especially in the lead up to the launch of Temasek Review, where weekends and public holiday(s) work might be required.
- Possess integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive information.
