Introduction
Temasek’s Public Affairs team is seeking a full-time intern to support the planning, coordination and execution of media engagements, principally the 2026 Temasek Review (TR) flagship annual disclosure exercise alongside related business-as-usual (BAU) communications activities. This internship offers hands-on experience in primary message as well as narrative development to facilitate media outreach, stakeholder engagement across high-profile, multi-channel communication campaigns and project management.
You will work closely with internal teams and external agencies to support the development of key messages, media materials, as well as logistics and administration of media briefings and outreach activities. This includes supporting the drafting and coordination of press releases, Q&A documents, and presentation decks.
Responsibilities
Media Content Development
- Contribute to the development of key messages for the Temasek Review multi-channel communications campaign
- Assist in drafting and editing materials for media engagement including presentation decks, press release, Q&A documents, ensuring alignment with messaging.
- Compile and prepare supplementary materials including biographies, fact sheets and other media kit collaterals.
Media Briefings & Training
- Coordinate schedules and logistics for media training and rehearsals with spokespeople and media trainers.
- Disseminate training materials, including scripts and presentation decks
- Support the setup and operations of media briefing sessions, including IT coordination and photography briefs.
Media Monitoring & Post-Launch Support
- Assist in compiling and disseminating campaign-focused media monitoring reports including local and international coverage
- Support the preparation of post-event deliverables such as transcripts, broadcast clippings, and corporate decks.
Project Management & Coordination
- Maintain and update project trackers to ensure timely delivery of all media-related tasks and deadlines.
- Assist in budget tracking and logistics arrangements for internal sessions and media briefings.
General Communications Support
- Provide support for BAU media-focused activities within the Public Affairs team, including stakeholder communications, and internal coordination as needed.
Requirements

- University undergraduates pursuing any of these majors/degrees: Communications Studies, Journalism, Mass Communication, Film & Media, Marketing, Business Management, Economics, Accountancy and Finance. We also welcome applicants from other liberal arts disciplines such as Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Chinese Studies, and Linguistics.
- Able to commit full-time for a minimum of 6 months, preferably from February till July 2026, while retaining enrolment with recognised university by the end of the internship.
- Please indicate your availability (start and end date) and expected graduation date.
- Ability to work overtime in the peak period leading up to the launch of Temasek Review (typically from mid-June till mid-July), including in-office work over weekends and public holiday(s) as and when required.
- Do note that we may request for samples of your past written assignments/works.
What we are looking for
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in current affairs and / or financial communications.
- Prior internship experience(s) at a public relations agency or an organisation's Corporate Communications/ Marketing/ Public Affairs department will also be considered a strong plus.
- Adaptive in fast paced environment and able to multi-task and handle complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Actively listen to instructions and demonstrate an understanding of assignment expectations (deadlines and deliverables).
- Demonstrate critical thinking, curiosity, resourcefulness, and an eagerness to learn.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented with the ability to identify, manage, and resolve issues.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Able to work long hours and meet tight deadlines.
- Possess integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive information.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
