Introduction
Responsibilities
- Work closely with data architect in creating data pipelines using cloud and big data technologies.
- Work on scheduling big data jobs on cloud.
- Work on deploying and testing data applications.
- Create dashboards for business requirements.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science and Computer Engineering
- Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Data processing experience in SQL. Knowledge of database principles
- Good grasp of key computer science and software engineering concepts including but not limited to software design patterns, application security, performance, TDD
- Strong interest in learning new data systems and technologies.
- Experience in cloud technologies like AWS is preferred
- Experience with big data frameworks like airflow, spark is desired
- Experience with CI/CD practices and systems (e.g. git, bitbucket) are a plus
- Experience with data visualizations tools like Tableau, Qlik advantageous
