Introduction

This internship position supports the Internal Communications function within Public Affairs in digital content development and communications work, primarily through written and visual media formats (stories, videos, graphics, animations etc).

Responsibilities

  • Gather, produce and write company/staff news, blogs and Q&A features, collaborating from time to time with the Public Affairs’ Digital Newsroom team for external publication. This may include speaking with or interviewing internal teams and stakeholders for information gathering.
  • Support the creation and development of visual and audio media assets (videos, photos, graphics, charts, podcasts etc) for internal audiences, told through a digital storytelling lens.
  • Conceptualisation and development of original short and medium-format video content for internal platforms anchored to institutional narrative themes and tailored to identified internal audiences and stakeholders.
  • Creation and development of illustrations through infographics and animations to support corporate and institutional narratives told through a digital storytelling lens.
  • Project management: ensure timely progress and completion of projects.

Requirements

  • Open to undergraduates in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields. Students from other disciplines with a strong interest in public affairs and communications are welcome to apply.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing shareable corporate and social video/animations/infographics is a plus.
  • Comfortable with using Microsoft Office 265 (Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Familiarity with photo/video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is an advantage.
  • Basic proficiency in using Generative AI and AI tools such as Microsoft Co-Pilot and ChatGPT to drive productivity and process efficiency. 
  • Able to commit full-time from July/August to December 2026 (6 months) while remaining enrolled in a recognised university.

  • Meticulous and detail-oriented with the ability to identify, manage, and resolve issues.
  • Team player who is comfortable with ambiguity, self-motivated, and proactive.
