Introduction
This internship position supports the Internal Communications function within Public Affairs, with a focus on digital content development, internal storytelling and employee engagement. The role will contribute to written and visual comms such as stories, videos, graphics, animations, and support internal engagement campaigns
Responsibilities
- Gather, produce and write company/staff news, blogs and Q&A features, collaborating from time to time with the Public Affairs’ Digital Newsroom team for external publication. This may include speaking with or interviewing internal teams and stakeholders, and collaborating with Public Affairs’ Digital Newsroom team where content may also be suitable for external publication.
- Conceptualise and develop original short and medium-format video content for internal platforms anchored to institutional narrative themes and tailored to identified internal audiences and stakeholders.
- Create and develop illustrations through infographics and animations to support corporate and institutional narratives told through a digital storytelling lens.
- Support the planning and execution of internal engagement initiatives and campaigns, working closely with internal stakeholders across teams.
- Project management: ensure timely progress and completion of projects.
Requirements
- Open to undergraduates in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields. Students from other disciplines with a strong interest in public affairs and communications are welcome to apply.
- Demonstrable experience in developing shareable corporate and social video/animations/infographics is a plus.
- Comfortable with using Microsoft Office 265 (Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with photo/video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency in using Generative AI and AI tools to drive productivity and process efficiency.
- Able to commit full-time from January/February to July 2027 (6 months) while remaining enrolled in a recognised university.
