Introduction
This is an opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual to gain experience and exposure supporting the regulatory and compliance function of a well-known investment house based in Singapore.
The ideal candidate is an administrative professional who is open to new experiences and learning new skills. At least three years’ prior experience in a legal or compliance field is preferred but not required as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Be part of a team that is responsible for monitoring of regulatory reporting obligations for the firm across global markets
- Support the BAU running of regulatory reporting activities, including shareholding monitoring through shareholding tracking systems and assisting with the preparation of regulatory filings
- Provide project management support for the implementation of a leading shareholding tracking system, participating in the delivery of project milestones, working with internal stakeholders and including testing and review of business use cases
- Provide team support through monitoring of stock exchange announcements to identify disclosure reporting triggers
- Updating and maintaining shareholding registers and other regulatory records, including other administrative work to support the regulatory function
Requirements
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Responsible, meticulous and detail-oriented
- Quick learner and able to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and effectively to meet regulatory timelines
- Prior experience in one or more of the following fields preferred but not required:
- Corporate secretarial
- Database management
- Compliance
- Regulatory
- Legal
- System testing
