Introduction

Investment Services (IS) serves as a value partner by delivering end-to-end investment support services to advance investment strategies. With a focus on operational excellence and scalability through digital innovation, IS bring together all investment support services spanning from deal advisory, valuation, trade and life cycle operations, enterprise and core data management, data and analytics enablement, investment accounting and sustainability reporting to deliver business outcomes. 

 

The Operations team manages and delivers E2E trade support and settlement activities in an efficient manner whilst ensuring effective compliance and controls. The team also manages and maintains the relationships with service providers such as banks, trading partners and other trade support services

 

You will be a member of the Investment Service team to roll out automation solution using RPA to digitize and streamline manual processes.  

Responsibilities
  • Understand the end to end business process and requirement.  
  • Research and innovate using RPA for the following areas :- 
  • Transferring of documents from GP portals to destination repository 
  • Automating trade capture in SimCorp Dimension (SCD) by translating capital call requests into system readable format  
  • Automating NAV updates in SCD by translating NAV statements into system readable format 
  • To be responsible and support of the team’s core activities 

 

The incumbent will be able to gain the following competencies: 

  • Business knowledge in funds processing activities 
  • Experience in Agile delivery model 
  • Experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA)  
  • Experience in working with Sharepoint and SCD  
  • Gain knowledge in process streamlining, elicit user requirements and process documentation.  
Requirements
  • Good analytical skills and details oriented  
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science or similar discipline 
  • Strong IT skills (Python, R, Excel VBA, SQL) and conversant with the use of search engines and databases, web scraping 
  • Good communication skills 
  • Strong co-ordination and organization skills. 
  • Highly professional and discreet, able to maintain confidentiality on projects

  • A team player with pleasant disposition. 
  • Ability to work well with people within and outside the team, and across the organizational hierarchy. Willing to lend a hand in helping fellow teammates where required. 
  • A self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
