Introduction
This internship will support the team in driving automation, data analytics, and process improvement initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), data engineering, and investment operations while working alongside business and technology stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyse end-to-end business processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Design, develop, and enhance automation solutions, data pipelines, dashboards, and workflows.
- Research and apply technologies such as RPA, Snowflake, Python, and AI-driven solutions.
- Support the team's core operational activities through process optimisation and automation.
- Gather user requirements, document processes, and develop technical specifications and user guides.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality, governance, and sustainability of solutions.
- Assist in testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of automation initiatives.
Incumbent will be able to gain the following competencies:
- Exposure to investment operations and business processes.
- Hands-on experience in RPA, analytics, data engineering, and digital transformation projects.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Practical knowledge of enterprise platforms such as Snowflake and SharePoint.
- Skills in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and business process optimisation.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel VBA, R, and data automation tools.
- Familiarity with databases, web scraping, Snowflake, and SharePoint.
- Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies and business processes.
