Responsibilities

  • Provide support to trading and investment teams
  • Manage pre trade logistics prior to execution
    • Assist trading desk on workflow and coordination of internal logistics with various stakeholders 
    • Run simulation to generate trading orders, and work with Compliance team to investigate hard blocks
    • Perform compliance checks for new counterparties and portfolio of stock holdings
  • Manage post trade operations and execution tracking 
    • Assist with data enrichment and compiling of execution report summaries
    • Upkeep and maintain existing trade execution blotter and reporting systems
    • Coordinate operational work around ongoing commission sharing programs
  • Validate trade details against counterparties’ confirmations and matching in CTM Omgeo
  • Shift work required on a rotational basis to support US T+1 trade processing
  • Record investments across various asset classes 
  • Manage corporate actions and proxy voting events, including monitoring upcoming events, recording entitlements and notifying relevant internal stakeholders
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for decision outcome and process instructions
  • Drive ongoing internal process enhancements through automation based on industry best practices
  • Assist and maintain SOP documentation

Requirements

  • Good degree in Business, Banking and Finance is preferred
  • Relevant experience in securities operations
  • Quick learner, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure
  • Able to multitask and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of financial markets and products
  • A meticulous team player with initiative who can work well independently
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Good knowledge of VBA, Programming or Data visualization tools e.g., Qlik, Tableau, Snowflake is an added advantage
