Introduction
The Ecosperity team within the Sustainability Group (SUG) is seeking a 6-month maternity cover to promote and advance sustainability outreach and convenings with Temasek’s broad stakeholder base, with the objective of strengthening global awareness of the firm as a sustainability-oriented investor. This role requires an understanding of sustainability principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage concurrent projects in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Communications, marketing and branding
- Lead the execution of an integrated communications plan across earned, owned and paid media in support of the platform’s objectives and activities, which include Ecosperity Week and other events throughout the year:
- Drive the production of Ecosperity-branded marketing collaterals for use onsite at events and online, as well as to ensure relevant use or mention of the Ecosperity branding.
- Develop and vet content for communications materials such as event invitations, descriptions and synopses, videos, briefing decks, administrative notes, emcee scripts, post conference report, EDMs and long form articles.
- Facilitate the onsite deployment of communications/marketing elements at events, including branding walls, signages, videos and performances.
- Support the development and maintenance of digital properties for Ecosperity, which includes the website, conference networking platform/event app and social media channels.
- Lead the execution of an integrated communications plan across earned, owned and paid media in support of the platform’s objectives and activities, which include Ecosperity Week and other events throughout the year:
- Measurement and reporting:
- Measure the effectiveness of outreach and initiatives with established key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collect, analyse, and report data on the impact of efforts, in internal briefing decks or reports to external stakeholders.
- Facilitate media engagements
- Support the media engagement lead in developing talking points relevant to the key messages of Ecosperity/relevant events.
- Partner the media engagement lead in facilitating media interviews onsite (at events), with the selection of interview locations, and provision of necessary branding collaterals (e.g. media wall, banners etc.).
- Facilitate partnerships
- Support the partnerships lead in the development of partnership/sponsorship packages and fulfilment of entitlements for partners/sponsors.
- Monitor expression of interest to attend or partner Ecosperity events (through social media channels, website etc.).
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in sustainability, public affairs, communications, marketing or a related field.
- Some knowledge of sustainability principles, environmental issues, and social impact.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently.
- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive to completion.
- Proven ability in fronting and working with senior executives to deliver strategic outcomes.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong interest to continuously deepen expertise in this area.
- Strong intercultural awareness, team orientation, adaptability, and ability to work across geographies .and teams – including work hours that can extend across global time zones.
- Strong work ethics, ability to demonstrate initiative, ownership, and manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for sustainability and a strong commitment to driving positive change.
