Introduction
This role based in Singapore (SG) will join the Payroll team responsible for payroll processing for the SG office as well as International Offices (IOs)
Responsibilities
For SG payroll: via a single global vendor
- Prepare instructions to payroll vendor using standard input template for any manual instructions
- Retrieve document for leavers’ payment of leave encashment or payment recoveries
- Review IR21 prepared by vendor
- Ensure compliance to employment tax & CPF/social security regulations
- Prepare ad-hoc GL for postings outside of payroll cycles
- Prepare submissions for government paid leave annually
For IO payroll: via local payroll vendors & a single global vendor
- Collate and provide payroll information to external payroll vendor(s) on agreed frequency
- Review draft payroll prepared by the external payroll vendor(s)
- Prepare payroll funding template
- Prepare variance and general ledger reports
- Statutory reporting for IO offices
- Ensure compliance to employment tax & CPF/social security regulations
- System testing for OnePayroll( payroll reporting system)
Other Payroll Duties
- Participate in annual payroll audit by external auditing firm
- Preparation of data for annual Key Management Disclosure
Requirements
- At least 5 years’ of experience in a similar payroll processing role
- Must have experience in SG payroll processing
- Experience would be preferred in at least 1 of the following IO countries’ payroll processing: Belgium, UK, USA, France.
- Possess a positive attitude, resilience, independence, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Proven track record as a team player who can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
