Introduction
The Governance and Technology team serves as a key pillar within the Financial Management (FM) function, dedicated to building a secure, efficient, and compliant environment through integrated platforms and robust Data Governance. We manage the ongoing operations of Workday Finance with our partners, including system configuration, security access, compliance, and new feature enablement. By working closely with internal teams and external service providers, we continuously drive process improvements and automation to elevate operational excellence.
As a Functional Business Analyst in the G&T team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day processes and driving project implementations that deliver technology, process, and data solutions to strengthen governance and enable operation excellence within FM.
You will support the responsibility within Workday Finance, internet banking platforms, and automation tools (e.g., UiPath, SharePoint Forms, Power Automate) through end-to-end project activities - including process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, stakeholder engagement, testing, training, and change management. In addition, you will develop automation workflows and dashboards using tools like Snowflake and Tableau to enhance data governance, reporting, and analytics - working closely with internal teams, IT, and external partners to ensure effective delivery and adoption.
Responsibilities
- Support Workday configuration management, UAT, and issue resolution, ensuring alignment with internal frameworks, policies, and governance standards.
- Facilitate system integrations between Workday and other platforms; manage internet banking user access and authorization limits.
- Participate in design workshops to simplify, standardize, and streamline Finance processes and sub-processes.
- Drive implementation activities including process harmonization, solution design, testing, and data migration.
- Conduct impact assessments, validation, and testing of digital solutions.
- Support change management initiatives such as end-user training and content development.
- Provide post-implementation support to ensure successful adoption and operational stability.
- Develop and maintain user documentation including job aids, video tutorials, and SOPs.
- Contribute to automation projects aimed at enhancing user experience and reducing manual effort.
Reporting & Analytics
- Design and implement AI/ML use cases to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Utilize data analytics to uncover insights, support innovation, and inform decision-making.
- Manage data ingestion into the Data Lake and ensure robust data governance practices, including quality tracking and dictionary maintenance.
- Conduct research and leverage data to support process design and optimization.
- Support operational and regulatory reporting, as well as enterprise-wide data analytics initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in ERP implementation, system support and/or Data Analytics.
- Experience in Agile and SDLC delivery
- Experience in Robotic process Automation (RPA), Power Automate, SaaS data cloud such as Snowflakes will be an added advantage.
- Technical expertise in Workday Finance will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in PMP, Agile, Microsoft Access, Excel, Macros, Tableau, etc tools will be an added advantage
- Ability to drive process alignment, elicit user requirements, process documentation.
- Attention to details, self-driven, hands-on problem-solver and multi-tasker with sound analytical and decision-making skills.
- Strong team player with the interpersonal skills to influence and interact well with stakeholders; an effective communicator with the users and project teams to ensure project success.
- Ability to operate under tight schedules to meet deadlines.
