Introduction

Temasek Singapore (“TSG”) actively stewards Singapore-based Temasek Portfolio Companies (“TPCs”) – partnering them for the long term, supporting their continued growth, strengthening their foundations, and enabling them to remain globally competitive while staying rooted in Singapore.

The Ecosystem Enablement team within TSG (“TSG-EE”) supports the development of a resilient and vibrant Temasek ecosystem in Singapore.  Working closely with the Portfolio Development and Global Investment teams, TSG-EE assesses relevant public policy developments, strengthen relationships with government officials and regulators, and foster mutually beneficial partnerships to enhance ecosystem synergies in Singapore.

Role

The successful candidate will support Temasek’s public policy, stakeholder engagement and ecosystem partnership efforts across selected priority domains, which may include agrifood, artificial intelligence, biomedical sciences and heat resilience.

The role involves working with the team to assess policy and regulatory developments, shape policy positions, build strategic external relationships, and drive initiatives that advance project priorities and commercial outcomes. A significant part of the role will involve research, synthesis across domains, and support in the logistical planning of senior-level engagement platforms. The candidate may also support selected team initiatives, including helping to build the team’s AI agentic workflows.

The candidate will work closely with the TSG-EE team members and partner with internal teams across Portfolio Development, Investment groups and other relevant functions.

  • Develop and support stakeholder engagement strategies to build trusted relationships with government, regulators, industry partners and ecosystem stakeholders
  • Plan, curate and manage TSG-EE’s stakeholder engagement platforms, including senior-level meetings, roundtables and convenings
  • Support internal and external meetings, including preparation of agendas, briefs, talking points and follow-ups

  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous issues, connect dots across domains and develop clear recommendations
  • Ability to synthesise across policy, business, finance, sustainability, technology, innovation, workforce and international relations, and draw implications for Temasek’s projects and initiatives
  • Strong written, oral presentation and project management skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships and networks across the public and private sectors, including through institutional platforms
  • Ability to work effectively with various internal teams, to support a coordinated approach on policy and ecosystem issues
  • Domain knowledge in one or two relevant areas – such as artificial intelligence, digital technology and infrastructure, emerging technologies, biomedical sciences, sustainability, energy transition, heat resilience, agrifood or workforce –  would be a plus
  • Openness to tinker with AI-enabled tools, workflow automation and knowledge management solutions as well as familiarity with AI agentic workflows or related tools would be advantageous
