In partnership with various teams across Temasek and our broader ecosystem, the Sustainability Group initiates, develops and implements strategies to build a climate-resilient, net zero portfolio and to enable nature positive and inclusive growth; catalyses new business opportunities and solutions that contribute to sustainable development; advances thought leadership and engagement on sustainability topics; and supports our growth as a sustainable organisation to create shared value aligned with our mandate of generating sustainable returns over the long term.

 

Ecosperity is Temasek’s core platform for sustainability advocacy and engagement. Through the platform, the Singapore-headquartered global investment firm drives global sustainability thought leadership with the development and execution of year-round activities to convene conversations, catalyse action, and push the climate change and sustainable development agenda.

 

This position supports the Ecosperity team in developing and executing its marketing and communications strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of a holistic communications strategy for Ecosperity
  • Work with the team’s communications agency to manage media engagements for Ecosperity’s convenings.
  • Support the curation of session narratives for high-level discussions at Ecosperity’s key convenings
  • Develop collaterals and content for Ecosperity’s communications channels
  • Play the role of liaison officer to external partners, for the purposes of marketing and communications-related collaborations
  • Maintain and update the Ecosperity website
  • Provide cross-functional/workstream support for the purposes of Ecosperity’s advocacy, convening and thought leadership efforts
  • Identify and drive opportunities for process and workflow improvements, including by leveraging AI 
  • Collaborate with and contribute to work deliverables under the purview of other teams within SUG

Requirements

  • Bachelors in a communications, business or economics degree. Good if candidate has 1-4 years of working experience in a marketing, communications or sustainability role
  • Good communication, presentation and writing skills and meticulous eye for detail
  • Strong project management skills and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Familiarity with core IT applications and foundational AI literacy
  • Excellent team player
  • Strong interest in sustainability, with informed perspectives on the latest trends, developments and policies in sustainable development and climate action
  • A self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
  • Resourceful, adaptable, motivated, has initiative and a “can do” attitude
  • Enjoy engaging with stakeholders and building relationships
