Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of portfolio companies, including:
    • Business strategy and positioning
    • Operational efficiency and competitiveness
    • Financial performance and market dynamics
    • Industry structure and attractiveness

 

  • Support the identification, evaluation and execution tracking of value creation initiatives, such as:
    • Strategy refocusing and transformation
    • Operational improvements and cost optimisation
    • Balance sheet and capital structure enhancements
    • Corporate restructuring initiatives

 

  • Develop and maintain robust valuation and financial models including: 
    • Sum-of-the-Parts (SOTP) analyses
    • Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Dividend Discount Model (DDM)
    • Trading comparables and precedent transactions
    • Scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis

 

  • Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, with a focus on:
    • Financial strength and key value drivers
    • Competitive positioning
    • Industry trends and emerging risks/opportunities

  • Engage with stakeholders, management teams and Board Directors:
    • Support strategic discussions
    • Provide analytical insights to inform decision-making
    • Track execution of key initiatives

 

  • Support portfolio management initiatives and transaction-related workstreams, including:
    • Due diligence, valuation, capital structure analysis
    • Research and prepare high-quality analyses, presentations, and internal memoranda to support decision making

 

  • Contribute to portfolio-wide value creation initiatives, including:
    • Identifying synergies across companies
    • Supporting organic and inorganic growth opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, private equity / corporate finance / M&A, accounting or related fields
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities
  • Ability to communicate clearly and engage effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with strong ownership and ability to work independently
  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively across functions and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet)
  • AI fluency, including practical use of tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot to enhance research, synthesis, analysis, and productivity
