Responsibilities

Project Delivery (Both Strategic & Tactical Projects) 

  • Drive Complex Program / Project Delivery: Take full ownership of mission-critical IT initiatives, driving them from solution design through to enterprise-wide deployment. 
  • Steering & Governance: Act as the primary delivery lead in key projects assigned to you, provide transparent, high-level reporting on progress, risks, and dependencies to Senior Management and Program Leadership. 
  • Commercial & Vendor Management: Manage strategic vendor relationships to ensure rigorous adherence to scope, quality, and commercial commitments, acting as the escalation point for critical delivery blockers. 
  • Change Leadership: Spearhead the change management strategy for new project rollouts, ensuring that technology implementation translates into tangible business adoption and operational efficiency 
  • Act as a crucial bridge between business and technology delivery teams, driving both project delivery and day-to-day operations.

 

Product Management (Existing Digital Tools) 

  • Platform Sustainment: Act as the Product Owner for a portfolio of live digital tools, ensuring high availability and user satisfaction. 
  • Backlog & Enhancement: Manage the product backlog for existing tools—prioritizing critical bug fixes, security patches, and minor feature enhancements. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for business users; gather feedback and translate business needs into clear requirements for the engineering team. 
  • Adoption & Support: Monitor usage metrics and support adoption initiatives to ensure the firm continues to derive value from these tools during the coverage period. 
  • BAU Operations: Manage BAU aspects of systems, including monitoring and maintaining the operational health of the core systems. Ensure all teams adhere to system availability, reliability, and performance meet defined service level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

  • 8+ years in a hybrid Product/Project role (e.g., Technical Project Manager, Delivery Lead, Business Analyst, or Product Manager) with a proven track record of strong delivery focus.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (for effective product backlog management) as well as Waterfall/Hybrid approaches (for comprehensive cross-project milestone tracking).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including Technology, Business, Legal, and Regulatory partners.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • A structured, organized operator with a focus on execution, stability, and continuous improvement and prioritizes "getting things done"
  • Enthusiastic about close collaboration and transparent communication with teams and stakeholders in an agile environment.
  • Excellent communicator adept at clearly conveying design processes, ideas, and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passionate about people, design, data, and technology.
  • Open to feedback and constructive criticism to foster personal and team growth.
  • Strong grasp of both Agile (for product backlog management) and Waterfall/Hybrid (for cross-project milestone tracking) 
  • Project Management Certifications (e.g. PMP, CSPO, PSPO)
  • Understanding of and/or Experience with front-office trading platforms (e.g. Order Management, Execution Management) 
  • Strong presentation skills (ability to quickly generate various decks / artefacts – ranging from project reporting to functional showcases to strategic presentations)
